License terms: Authors grant the journal the right of first publication under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to share the work with acknowledgement of the authorship of the work and the initial publication in this journal.

Following the principles of the Budapest Open Access InitiativeBOAI, the editorial office provides full open access to the content. We guarantee the right of each user to freely use the articles (copying, printing, linking to the full texts) without financial obligations or obtaining prior permission from the authors, provided that they are used for legitimate scientific and educational purposes.

By this agreement the author certifies that the submitted material:

  • does not infringe the copyright of other persons or organizations;
  • was not previously published in other publishing houses and has not been submitted for publication in other editions.

The author passes the editorial board of the journal Ukrainian Culture: Past, Present, Development Paths rights to:

  • publication of the article in Ukrainian and English language and distribution of its printed copy;
  • distribution of the article electronic copy, as well as electronic copy of the article's English translation (for articles in Ukrainian), via any electronic means (placing on the journal official website, electronic databases, repositories, etc.).

The author reserves the right without the consent of the editorial board and founders:

    • use the article, in whole or in part, for educational, scientific, and research purposes, including the preparation of dissertations, monographs, educational publications, conference abstracts, conference proceedings, oral presentations, and other scholarly works;
    • deposit electronic versions of the article (the Author's Accepted Manuscript (AAM) and/or the Version of Record (VoR) published on the Journal's official website) in:
      • the authors' personal websites and other personal online resources (including blogs and personal webpages);
      • the websites of the institutions with which the authors are affiliated, including institutional repositories;
      • non-commercial repositories and other open access resources.
    In all cases, a bibliographic reference to the article or a hyperlink to its electronic copy on the official website of the journal is mandatory.
